KLEIN was founded in 2012 as Klein’s Restoration Services, a company focused on providing access for utility companies. In 2014, Erik Klein and his team veered slightly off course, using their knowledge and expertise to help companies comply with environmental restoration laws upon completion of construction projects.
KLEIN is a customer-centric business that expands to meet our customers’ needs. In 2015, we developed and patented EPZ Grounding Grates, an equipotential matting system for electrical workers. In 2019, KLEIN launched a traffic control staffing and equipment leasing solution, LANE LOGIX, to facilitate access to road projects. We anticipate many more years of developing and implementing innovative solutions for our customers.
The Next Stage of Growth
After growing from six to 250 employees, KLEIN was acquired by YAK ACCESS, North America’s largest supplier of access matting. In addition to our full range of services, expertise, emphasis on safety, quality execution and responsive personal service that have always been a part of our company, KLEIN now has access to a world-class mat inventory, allowing us to quickly supply the right matting for any project — regardless of its type or size.
